How far a creator's followers behave like real people who are paying attention.
Also called: fake followers, audience authenticity, bot followers
Bought followers, bot engagement and engagement pods make a creator look bigger and more influential than they are. Audience quality checks look for the signs: engagement far below what the account size would suggest, likes out of proportion to comments, sudden jumps in followers, and comments that could be about anything.
No outside tool can see a creator's follower list the way the platform does, so an honest check gives reasons, not a precise percentage of fakes. Ask the creator for their audience insights (country, age, gender) as well: a Dubai-based creator whose audience is mostly elsewhere may be the wrong fit even if every follower is real.
