Influencer rate calculator
What a reel, post, story or video is worth for a creator of a given size and engagement, as a fair range in AED, SAR or USD. Type the numbers or fill them in from a handle. The formula is on the page. Free, no sign-up.
The rule of thumb as it is.
Engagement against a typical 2.2% for this size moves the rate by +5%.
One reel and three story frames at the rates above. Packages are often quoted 10 to 15% below the sum.
A starting point for a conversation, not a price list: no public one exists. Usage rights, exclusivity, whitelisting for ads and tight deadlines all add to it. See how the estimate is built below.
How the estimate is built
Three steps, each one visible. A rate per thousand followers for the format, moved for engagement against accounts of the same size, then for positioning. The result is shown as a range from 25% below to 30% above, because a price is agreed, not calculated.
Rate per 1,000 followers, before engagement and positioning
| Platform | Format | USD per 1,000 | Minimum (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reel | $12 | $60 | |
| Feed post | $10 | $50 | |
| Story (one frame) | $4 | $20 | |
| TikTok | Video | $8 | $50 |
| TikTok | Story | $3 | $20 |
| YouTube | Dedicated video | $20 | $150 |
| YouTube | Integration | $10 | $80 |
| YouTube | Short | $6 | $40 |
Engagement
The creator’s engagement rate is compared with the typical rate for accounts of the same size (the same tiers the free engagement calculators use). The price moves by half of the difference: twice the typical engagement adds 50%, half of it takes 25% off. The move is held between minus 30% and plus 50%.
Positioning
- Value, ×0.7. Newer creators, or a long-term package.
- Standard, ×1. The rule of thumb as it is.
- Premium, ×1.4. In-demand niches, exclusivity or usage rights.
Currency
The dirham is pegged at 3.6725 to the US dollar and the riyal at 3.75, so the conversion is exact and never goes out of date.
Using the number without being used by it
- Quote the range, not the middle. It leaves room for the things that should move a price: usage rights, exclusivity and timing.
- Ask for the creator’s own insights before agreeing a rate on followers. Reach and saves on their last ten posts are worth more than any calculator.
- Price packages below the sum of their parts. A reel with three stories is less work to brief and to report than four separate posts.
- Write the usage terms into the brief. A post that becomes a paid ad for six months is a different deal from a post.

Common questions
How much should I pay an influencer in the UAE?
There is no official price list, here or anywhere. The rule of thumb the industry quotes is a rate per thousand followers, around USD 10 for an Instagram feed post, moved up or down for engagement and for how in demand the creator is. This calculator applies that openly and converts it at the fixed dirham and riyal pegs, so you have a defensible starting point for the conversation rather than a guess.
Why does engagement change the price?
Because followers are only the audience a post could reach, and engagement is how much of it actually responds. A creator with half the followers and twice the engagement of another can be the better booking. The calculator moves the rate by half of the difference from what is typical for the account's size, and caps the move, so one strong month does not decide a year's rate.
What is not included in the estimate?
Usage rights (the brand reusing the content in its own ads or website), exclusivity with competitors, whitelisting a post to run as a paid ad, rushed deadlines and travel. Each of those is normally quoted on top, and often as a percentage of the base fee.
Can I use it to set my own rates as a creator?
Yes, and it is a sensible check before a brand does the same maths. Pick the positioning honestly: Premium is for niches brands compete for, not for everyone who wants a higher number.
Where do the numbers come from?
The rate per thousand followers for each format, and the minimum below which nobody takes a brief, are listed in the table on this page. They are working figures, rounded, based on what is commonly quoted across the industry. Change the positioning if your market runs above or below them.
