Are my files uploaded?
No. Every tool runs in your browser: the file is read, changed and saved on your own device, and nothing is sent to Wiro or anyone else. That is why a contract, an invoice or an ID is safe to use here.
Is it really free?
Yes, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Your own device does the work, so there is no server cost to pass on.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in any modern browser. Very large files are slower on a phone, because the phone does the work; on a computer the same file is usually quick.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
If you know the password, yes: Unlock PDF takes it off, in your browser, and every other tool can then work on the file. It does not guess, crack or bypass a password you do not have.
