Social media image resizer
One picture, cropped for every platform at once: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and more. Pick what stays in the frame, see the safe zones, download them all. It runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
What you will get
Every social media image size, checked September 2026
The sizes each platform recommends for upload. Bigger pictures get shrunk and smaller ones look soft, so matching these is the easiest way to keep a post sharp.

What trips campaigns up
- Text in the safe zones. On stories, reels and TikToks the top and bottom are covered by names, captions and buttons. Keep headlines in the middle, and check them in place with the ad mockup generator, which draws each app around your picture.
- One crop for every platform. A 4:5 post cut down for a 16:9 thumbnail loses the top and bottom. Pick the focus point once and each format keeps it.
- The grid crop. Instagram’s profile grid shows every post at 3:4. 3:4 is narrower than 4:5, so a 4:5 post loses a sliver at each side there, which matters for text near the edge.
- Logos near the edge. Profile photos are shown as circles; the corners are cut off. Keep a logo well inside.
From the resizer to the scheduler
Sizing is the last step before a post goes out. Wiro runs the steps around it: content calendars per client, approvals, and a scheduler that plans each post in the right market’s time.

What is the best Instagram post size in 2026?
1080 by 1350 pixels (4:5) takes the most room in the feed. Since 2025 the profile grid crops every post to 3:4, so 1080 by 1440 fills both the feed and the grid without a crop. Stories and reels are 1080 by 1920 (9:16).
Is my picture uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizer runs in your browser: your picture is read, cropped and saved on your own device, and nothing is sent to Wiro or anyone else.
What is a safe zone?
The top and bottom of a story, reel or TikTok, where the account name, caption and buttons sit on a phone. Text or a logo there gets covered. The resizer shades those bands in its previews so you can keep them clear; the shading is not in the download.
Fill or fit: which should I use?
Fill crops the picture to the shape, keeping the point you click on. Use it for photos. Fit keeps the whole picture and fills the gaps with a blurred copy of it or a colour. Use it for artwork, flyers and anything with text near the edges.
JPG or PNG?
JPG for photos: much smaller files, and every platform takes them. PNG for graphics with text, logos or flat colour, where JPG can blur the edges, and for anything with a transparent background.
How up to date are these sizes?
They were checked against each platform in September 2026. Platforms change them now and then; when they do, this page and the resizer change together.
