How much should a UGC creator charge in the UAE?

There is no published UAE price list for UGC, so start from what the market pays worldwide, then price the extras that brands really pay for: usage rights, extra hooks, raw files and speed.

UGC, user-generated content, is content you make for a brand to post on its own channels or run as ads. It is not a post on your own account, and it is priced differently. The hard part in the UAE is that nobody publishes a local UGC price list. What follows is what the market data says, where it comes from, and how to turn it into a rate you can defend.

UGC is not an influencer post

When a brand pays for an influencer post, it pays for your audience. When it pays for UGC, it pays for the content, and it puts its own budget behind getting it seen. That is why UGC usually costs less than a post on your account. Collabstr's 2025 figures, as reported by Billo in June 2026, put creator-posted content at around $364 on Instagram and $350 on TikTok, against about $198 for UGC.

What the market pays

Most numbers come from marketplaces and UGC platforms, so read them as a negotiating guide rather than a survey. In US dollars, with AED at the fixed rate of 3.6725:

  • Collabstr's 2026 report puts the average UGC campaign at $197 (about AED 720), down from $209 a year earlier, as more creators offer UGC.
  • Billo, in June 2026, gives tiers of $50 to $100 for entry-level creators (about AED 185 to 370), $150 to $500 for experienced ones (about AED 550 to 1,835) and $500 and up for the top tier, before any licensing.
  • Influee, in April 2025, put the average UGC video at $150 to $212, with a median near $175.

For a local reference point, sponsored posts are better documented. AGBI reported in April 2025 that nano influencers in the UAE, with 1,000 to 10,000 followers, earn AED 500 to 2,000 a post. Gulf budgets for content shot in English and Arabic, to a brand's guidelines, tend to sit above global marketplace averages, but no published survey confirms by how much, so price from your own work and your own wins.

Build your rate in layers

A rate that holds up in a negotiation has a base and clear extras. The base is one finished video: concept, script, shoot, edit and one round of changes. Everything else is priced on top, so a brand that wants more pays for more instead of asking you to absorb it.

  • Usage rights for paid ads. Influee puts this at 30 to 50% of the base for paid ads, website or email use, and Collabstr says rights can raise a campaign's cost by up to 39%. Price it by how long the brand can run the content.
  • Whitelisting or Spark Ads, where the ad runs from your handle. It is a separate permission from usage, so quote it separately.
  • Extra hooks and variations. Influee suggests around $50 (about AED 185) per extra hook or call to action.
  • Raw footage, rush delivery and exclusivity. Brands ask for all three; none has a reliable market figure, so set your own and write it down.

Here is what that can look like for one creator. The numbers are an example, not a market rate: a base of AED 1,500 per video with organic use on the brand's channels, 30 days of paid usage for 30% more, 90 days for 50% more, longer terms quoted on request, and AED 200 per extra hook. Writing it down this way turns every negotiation into choosing options rather than haggling over one number.

Check your number against posts

If a brand also wants the content on your account, you are selling a post as well. Wiro's free influencer rate calculator works out a fair range for a reel, a post or a story from your followers and engagement, in AED, SAR or USD, and shows the method under the result. Use it as the floor for the posting part of a deal, then add the UGC and usage on top.

Two UAE points before you quote

  • The advertiser permit. Since 1 February 2026, anyone posting ads from the UAE, paid or unpaid, gifted products included, needs the advertiser permit, now issued by the National Media Authority. If any part of a deal is posted on your accounts, you need it, and agencies are required to check. It is free for the first three years for citizens and residents.
  • VAT. You must register for VAT once your taxable sales pass AED 375,000 in 12 months. Once registered, quote your rates before VAT and add 5% on the invoice, so a VAT bill never comes out of your fee.
Price the video, then price the rights. Most of the money in UGC is in how long, and where, the brand can use it.

Put your rates in your Wiro creator profile, where only signed-in agencies see them, and update them every few months as your work and your results grow. Our guide to invoicing as a creator in the UAE covers the licence, VAT and getting paid once a brand says yes.
